Promise Yourself

Promise Yourself

To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful expression at all times and give a smile to every living creature you meet.
To give so much time to improving yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud word, but in great deeds.
To live in the faith that the whole world is on your side, so long as you are true to the best that is in you.

- Christian D. Larson

I read this today and thought it was beautiful and wanted to share it with you.
If we could all live by this philosophy, wouldn't life be grand?

Happy July 31st... wherever you are!

you are....

This is so true!
I have to agree that we are what we create, whether that be
happiness or sadness
war or peace
chaos or calmness
agrivation or acceptance
intolerance or tolerance

I once read that
"You can only control 5% of what happens in your life,
and the other 95% is how you react to it".

Saying this, the first does hold true ... you are what you create!

So create something beautiful today!

Welcome!

Today as I was going through my favorite inspirational blogs, I discovered that I want to start my own "Random Musings" and publish these next year!
I have never thought I had a lot to say, but guess what? I do!!!

I am going to dedicate this site to my two boys, George Andrew and Stuart Allan!
I love both of them dearly, and wouldn't trade them for the world!
(most days anyways!).

Here I am going to answer many questions I have; leave some answers to some questions my boys have; and just generally random muse!!

Enjoy the journey! I know I am!!!
